Happy Thanksgiving Eve, friends! I was going to save this post until later this week, but I am signing off to spend time with friends and family for the holiday, so I decided to go ahead and post this morning. Also, I really am just too excited to wait to show you these pictures. This past Sunday I ventured to the Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden in Greensboro to take pictures for the Loucks family. Landon and I met Phil and Shannon through Mercy Hill Church, and Phil and Shannon have a beautiful little girl named Abigail who will turn one this December. Mercy Hill is growing so rapidly (Praise God) that sometimes we don't get a chance to see all of our friends at services on Sundays, so it was great to get to reconnect with Phil and Shannon and spend time together. Landon came to the shoot to hang as well, and let me tell you what, the man is quite the photo assistant. He made Abigail's "Sophie toy" squeak like a champ (so much so that Shannon told me Abigail wouldn't stop squeaking it the next day...ha). Not only did he make Abigail laugh and help get her to look at the camera, but it was truly a joy to have him with me for the shoot. I really am thankful for a husband that walks beside me (literally) and supports my dreams so well! Abigail did great until the time she was supposed to be "merry" on her Christmas sleigh (scroll down to see the result of this debacle). But hey, the moment's real life, people, and it will be a precious memory to laugh at for years to come! Loucks family, you brought us a great deal of joy, and I hope these photos will do the same for you!
