Valentine's Day | Assorted Card Set

Ah, Valentine's Day. It's a day both loved and hated, but for me, it's mostly loved. I for one thoroughly enjoy the cheesy sayings, the outlandish romantic gestures, and let's be honest...the chocolate. I do find Valentine's Day slightly overdone, and yes, I think we should celebrate those we love every day, but that doesn't stop me from joining in on the festivities. This year I decided to take on a just-for-fun personal project to create a set of food-themed assorted cards. To do this, I teamed up with my good friend Caroline Arey of Happily Wed, Happily Fed, a drool-inducing, heartstring-tugging food blog. Caroline's blog (please do yourself a flavor and go read it now), is one of my absolute favorites to follow. I'm usually crying after I read one of her posts, either because I'm laughing so hard at her sense of humor or because my core has been rocked by her honesty and raw emotion. Caroline was the first person that came to mind when I thought of creating these cards, and I was so excited when she agreed to team up with me! We married her pleasantries with my Photoshop skills, and I'm pretty pleased with how these cards turned out!

Purchase Details

Since it's so close to Valentine's Day, and I'm not sure I could get physical cards shipped out in time, I've set up an item in my (temporary) shop where you can download these cards digitally. You can purchase the whole pack to print at home for $6.00 (click here)! In addition to the digital versions, I also have a small inventory of these cards available for purchase. If you're in the Greensboro area, I would love to hand-deliver a card to you for your darlings and food-loving favorites! These cards will be available at $4.00 a piece while supplies last, so please contact me here if you'd like one delivered!

All the wittiness and taco-teasing aside, I pray that this holiday will be a sweet reminder for you that you are truly loved. Friends, we have a heavenly Father who loved us so much that He sent His son to die for us, and in that we should rejoice! "For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God" (Ephesians 3:14-19).
