Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone! Today I am celebrating with these pictures of a beautiful family and the most joyous little girl in a pretty, green bow (how fitting). I had the privilege of photographing the Peters family this past Saturday in Greensboro at the Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden. It turned out to be the most perfect Saturday morning, and I was so grateful for time with these new friends. Brent, Krissy and Laeo attend Mercy Hill Church with Landon and I, but our church is growing so quickly that I hadn't actually met them before. The Peters family is so kind, and after only a few minutes with them, I was immediately blessed by their joy. I told Laeo that she could help me pick out spots in the garden that would be good to take pictures, and she did not hesitate to take me up on the offer. She would run up to a spot that caught her eye and immediately strike a pose. Her spunk and enthusiasm warmed my soul more than the sun that's finally shining as we welcome the spring (thank goodness). Her sweet personality combined with the family's good looks certainly made my job easy! The Peters are pretty stunning inside and out, and it was neat to get to learn about how God is working through their family. I feel lucky and thankful on this St. Patty's Day to have the opportunity to do something I love, and I hope this shines through in my work. Some of my favorite shots from our time together are below.
